About
Ketamine assisted coaching
We use Ketamine-Assisted Coaching (KAC) to help individuals move through dating, relationship, and intimacy challenges/goals. KAC is a type of growth facilitation that uses ketamine, a dissociative anesthetic, as an adjunct to coaching.
A professionally administered ketamine session can catalyze meaningful insights and emotional shifts, particularly in areas a person has already been exploring. It induces a neuroplastic state lasting 4–7 days, during which behavioral patterns may be more responsive to change. Many also report a significant reduction in anxiety during the first 36 hours.
When paired with targeted relational skill-building exercises, mock date simulations with live facilitators, or reflective coaching sessions—this combination often enhances how individuals engage in romantic and interpersonal dynamics.

FAQ
Frequently Asked
How does Ketamine work?
Ketamine primarily acts as an NMDA receptor antagonist and enhances AMPA receptor activity, boosting the release of glutamate and BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) — which leads to:
Increased neuroplasticity (brain’s ability to rewire and form new connections)
Rapid reduction in depressive and anxious symptoms
Greater emotional openness and cognitive flexibility
Why combine it with coaching?
The ketamine experience often reveals powerful insights—but it’s the coaching that helps you turn those insights into real-world change.
Whether you’re working through dating anxiety, deepening your romantic relationships, or reconnecting with your authentic self, Ketamine Assisted Coaching supports you in translating inner breakthroughs into lasting transformation.

What does the process look like?
The process begins with an initial consultation to assess your presenting concerns, goals, and readiness for Ketamine-Assisted Coaching. Following this, you will engage in preparatory coaching sessions designed to establish rapport, clarify objectives, and lay a foundation prior to your ketamine session.
Once foundational work is complete, you will be referred to a licensed medical provider for evaluation. Pending medical clearance, we will collaboratively design your Ketamine-Assisted Coaching plan, including dosage preferences (subject to medical approval), session format (single session vs. series), and post-session integration structure.
Pre-dosing planning includes identifying your desired outcomes and selecting the most appropriate integration supports—options may include guided authentic relating exercises with a coach and facilitator, structured coaching sessions, quiet reflection periods, or coordination with your existing therapist.
Your ketamine session will occur in a private and comfortable office setting in Austin, Texas. Medication is administered either intramuscularly (by a medical professional) or orally via troche (self-administered with prior prescription). During the Ketamine Journey (approximately 30–90 minutes), you will rest in a laying or reclining position with an eye mask and headphones. A trained coach will be present throughout to monitor your experience, ensure safety, and document relevant observations for later integration.
The 24–48 hours post-session typically involve heightened neuroplasticity and reduced anxiety—an optimal state for processing and behavioral shifts. During this window, clients may engage in targeted relational skill-building exercises, mock date simulations, or reflective coaching sessions.
Ongoing integration is strongly encouraged in the following days and weeks to reinforce insights, support behavioral shifts, and promote long-term relational and emotional growth.
Is it safe?
Yes. When administered by licensed professionals and paired with coaching or integration support, ketamine has a strong safety profile:
It’s been used for decades in hospitals and clinics
Side effects (like disorientation or nausea) are usually mild and fade within a few hours
It’s not considered addictive when used in structured, clinical environments
Studies from Yale, Stanford, and Harvard have shown powerful benefits for mental health
Are There Any Risks with Ketamine Assisted Coaching?
While many people find Ketamine Assisted Coaching to be a powerful and meaningful process, it’s important to be aware of potential risks—both physical and emotional. We take every precaution to ensure your safety and readiness, but here are a few considerations:
Medical & Physical Risks
- Short-term side effects may include dizziness, nausea, dissociation, temporary confusion, or visual/auditory distortions
- In rare cases, increased heart rate or blood pressure may occur
- Ketamine is not safe for individuals with certain medical conditions (e.g., uncontrolled high blood pressure, cardiovascular issues, history of psychosis, or certain substance use patterns)
- A licensed medical provider will conduct a full evaluation before you begin
Psychological & Emotional Risks
- Some individuals may experience challenging emotions or memories during or after a session
- The dissociative effects of ketamine can bring up intense internal material, which may feel disorienting without adequate preparation or support
- Occasionally, individuals may feel emotionally “off” or destabilized in the days following a session if integration is not properly supported
- KAC is not a replacement for psychotherapy or psychiatric care in cases of severe mental illness
Relational & Coaching-Specific Risks
- Insights gained under ketamine can feel profound in the moment, but may shift in meaning after the session, which is why post-session integration is crucial
- Without proper integration, clients may make impulsive decisions or misinterpret experiences
- As with any coaching process, results are not guaranteed, and outcomes depend heavily on the client’s engagement and ongoing work
Safety Measures in Place
- All medical evaluations are conducted by licensed providers
- Sessions are monitored in real time by trained professionals
- Clients receive preparation and post-session support to process their experiences and reduce potential distress
- We can work collaboratively with therapists, coaches, or medical providers you may already be working with

Struggling to Shift Dating, Confidence, or Intimacy?
You’re Not Alone. Dating, intimacy, and self-confidence aren’t easy areas to transform. They’re layered with learned behaviors, beliefs, shame, fear, trauma, and survival patterns like avoidance or control. And the truth is—most of us were never taught how to date with authenticity, how to navigate emotional connection, or how to truly understand the experience of another person in intimacy.
Even with the best coaching, it’s not uncommon to hit internal walls—those persistent places where change feels just out of reach. You want to show up more boldly, love more openly, or break out of old habits—but something still holds you back.
If you’ve found yourself stuck in this pattern—knowing what you want to do, but not following through—Ketamine Assisted Coaching may be the breakthrough you’re looking for. This process blends the deep insight and neuroplastic potential of ketamine with high-impact relational coaching, helping you create change that actually sticks.
